A New Year

This is the maiden post on our very own site. January 1, 2006. And I can't believe we spent it here in Cairo. Spencer and I did stay up until midnight and have bubbly grape juice and kiss. It's one celebration we could participate in and stay at home. Not like I felt like leaving. I felt the sickest on the last day of the year 31st of Dec. We just went to the supermarket to get basics. Then we camped out at home. I think we all got to feeling a bit stir crazy, but I just couldn't muster the energy to go anywhere. We may go somewhere today. Even a drive downtown would be welcome. I would like to explore the rural areas a little more. We'll see what happens. Happy New Year!!!
