What fun! And it looks like such a pretty day to be out by the water! Did you catch anything - not that catching is actually needed for fun with fishing!
I grew up fishing. Salt water, fresh water. Boats, shore, wading, docks. I've got pics of me on a doc when I was about Jacquie's size, holding my first fish, which was about as long as I was (I'm sure dad had to help me land it or it may have 'landed' me off the dock instead!) Our kids have never held a pole though. We ought to do something about that!
The kids are looking forward to fishing with my brother-in-law; die hard fly fisher, he is. This is in Maryland last Saturday at a friend's place. Very schweet.
