I give you, Grant. The human, I don't know what, accident? That sounds awful. But here is what he did late yesterday afternoon. Apparently he was scaling the railing (rhyme much?) on the porch and then decided to climb on top of it and climb on the small stone lip that runs along the house, just under the window. I think he had just made it to the lip when he fell on his face. Literally. Though flat face probably would have included teeth. He fell on his head. I think if he had broken his nose, it would have been bleeding. And I didn't discover his unicorn horn until I after I had cleaned up his nose & was just playing with his hair. Geez. This kid. I kept an eye on him after he perked up. No concussion or anything.
Here he is this morning. Looking a lot better. He was worried that he would 'always' have a bump. I told him it would get smaller & eventually disappear."Tomorrow? Will it disappear tomorrow?" Grant pleaded.
No, Grant. Not tomorrow, but soon. Then once everything looks right again, you'll do something else. You and Murphy's Law are BFFs.

Please, Lord, let our boy survive to adulthood. If he could also retain use of all his limbs, that would be even better.
Those kind of bumps look HORRIBLE, but are better than if they went in--per the dr. We've had these at our house too. Gotta love them kids. It seems we have them to just see if we are paying attention. We have a pic very similar of our daughter, scuffed nose and all--so it isn't just a boy thing.
Meg did the same thing when she was two. Super fun!
Btw, don't be surprised if he gets a black eye or two. Sometimes the blood in the lump drains down that way and a couple of shiners result.
Maybe wrap him in bubble wrap and lock him in the closet until Spencer comes home?
Love ya!
This is the sort of this I did to my parents... it isn't just a boy thing :P For some reason, climbing the roof, trees, leaping off docks, etc... just seem doable, at the time. And just how high were those bike ramps? Hang in there Grant ... remember, gravity, it's the law! Hope he is fully recovered, and soon!
